Quebec public health authorities are taking a deeper dive into the mental health of the province’s public school personnel… and they need your help!

The INSPQ, Quebec’s national public health institute, has released an online survey aimed at uncovering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of provincial public education workers.

 To participate in the survey

Teachers, professionals and support staff from all public elementary and secondary schools province wide are encouraged to complete the online questionnaire. It is expected to take between 30-45 minutes to complete the survey.

Researchers are particularly interested in the degree of psychological distress being felt by school personnel in the wake of the pandemic.

The INSPQ say the survey will produce the first veritable data on the subject in Quebec and allow for a better understanding of the main risk factors and overall well-being of workers.

The findings of the survey will lead to a series of recommendations aimed at mitigating the effects on school employees and enable preventative action to be taken.
