Free Community Autism Awareness Conference

On Sunday May 5 (8:30 am to 1 pm)  Giant Steps School, the Transforming Autism Care Consortium and the PATHWAYS ASD Research Group will be  is hosting a free community autism conference, at the the English Montreal School Board’s  Wagar Adult Centre in Côte Saint-Luc (5785 Parkhaven).

Addressing ASD developmental pathways across the lifespan, the conference will showcase what researchers have learned over the course of more than a decade working with hundreds of families. The findings will be shared from the perspectives of the different stakeholders.This conference is part of the Autism Festival, a series of events designed to engage the community, alongside the INSAR conference.

Speakers will include: Dr. Peter Szatmari, Dr. Anat Zaidman-Zai, Dr. Pat Mirenda, Dr. Wendy Ungar, and Dr. Stelios Georgiades, and Natalie and Vince (parent and youth participant).
